Warning for Allergic DinersThis long-established buckwheat noodle restaurant has been in operation since 1931 at the foot of Tsuruga Port, near to Kehi no Matsubara, one of the three largest pine trees in Japan. Each morning, they prepare two types of dashi soup, one for kake and one for zaru, and they only shave as much bonito as needed for that day. In specifically, the broth for zaru is created by mixing broth made from another kind of bonito with the broth for kake. Every noodle is created by hand. Our restaurant has hosted numerous celebrity visits. We'd love for you to sample our soup.
