“Koshi-no-Ruby (Ruby of Koshi (ancient name of Fukui)” of Fukui prefecture is small sized tomato famous for its high sugar content and delicate balance between sourness and sweetness.
Compared with normal-sized ordinary tomatoes it contains higher nutritive value, not least vitamin C and lycopene apart from sugar.
Koshi-no-Ruby is a tomato with greater taste as well as nutrition.
